so that he would have sex with her, he fled. She said, “Lie with me” (Gen. 39:7). He said, “Seeya” (Gen. 39:12). Paul also tells Timothy to run away: “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart” (2 Tim. 2:22). In the passage noted earlier he tells the Corinthians to flee sexual immorality (1 Cor. 6:18). Connected with this is the practice of running toward righteousness, faith, love, and peace.
